Outer Banks shortstop Abe Ghosty made his presence felt in the 10-5 Aviators triumph over the Nashville Stars. Ghosty went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Outer Banks has now won 3 in a row.

Bazooka Slow had a big 2-run double for the Aviators in the bottom of the third inning. With Outer Banks trailing 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from Ultimo Kahn, who is tied for 6th in the Champions with a 1.23 WHIP, and swatted a double to right. It was his 28th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aviators ahead, 2-1.
