Vandals Topple Rougarous, 5-3, as Hrishikesh Shines
The Vancouver Vandals beat the New Orleans Rougarous, 5-3, at Full Moon Stadium. The Vandals got a fine performance from catcher Akshay Hrishikesh, who went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Alejandro Abasi recorded the save for Vancouver, his 17th of the season. The first-place Vandals, at 58-38, lead the Legends Conference West by 12 games.

Vancouver grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Hrishikesh hit a 2-run double off Griff Manzer. His 17th double of the season put the Vandals out in front, 3-1.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Hrishikesh.
