The New Orleans Rougarous defeated the Vancouver Vandals, 6-5, in 10 innings. Ozzie Robinson, who is tied for 10th in the Champions with a .298 batting average, played a big role. Robinson went 2 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Rougarous in the win. Reliever Takeda Takahashi picked up the win. His record improves to 7-2. Jackson Kidd took the loss. New Orleans is 44-53 and Vancouver, with the loss, 58-39.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jackson Love in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off fan favorite Jackson Kidd to win the game for New Orleans. The home crowd went nuts.
