Streaking Voyagers Win Another One, 6-1
|
New York Voyagers starter Joey Moose Jr. was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the San Antonio Sloths, 6-1. The first-place Voyagers have their sights set on making a deep playoff run.
New York left fielder Udo Bonga contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a cutter to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 121st hit of the season and put the Voyagers ahead, 4-0.
"Joey controlled the strike zone," said New York manager .
