Bull-Worm Excels, But Demons Win
The Detroit Demons overcame a fine performance by New Orleans catcher Alaskan Bull-Worm to defeat the Rougarous, 10-9, at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. Bull-Worm hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times. The winner was Clawdaddy in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Baron Samedi took the loss. The third-place Demons lifted their record to 41-42.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Biff Slamous went deep for the Demons. With Detroit trailing 7-5, he drilled a 2-run home run.

"Swingers' gonna swing," said Slamous, after the high-scoring affair.
