The first-place Buffalo Surge picked up another win.

Buffalo Surge starter Ren Toltraid turned in a top-notch performance against the San Antonio Sloths at The Power House. The result was a win for the Surge, 4-1. Buffalo leads the Legends Conference East by 4½ games.

The Surge got a big at-bat from center fielder Damien Thriller. For the game, Thriller went 1 for 3 with a home run. In the bottom of the third, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Buffalo a 2-1 lead.

Thriller said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
