The Pot was the site for Legends Conference action featuring the Providence Crabs and Buffalo Surge.

Buffalo right-hander Brigham Irons pitched his team to victory over the Providence Crabs at The Pot. The final score was 6-2. Irons, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 3, walking 2, and allowing 2 runs. Picking up his 1st save was 27-year old left-handed pitcher Paj Bobba.

Buffalo used a clutch at-bat from D.W. Dogmaple to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Surge ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"Solid performance from our side," said Surge manager .

After losing, Providence is 0-2.
