Nova Montagne never let the Rougarous get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his circle change, to pitch the Toros to a win, 2-1. In 7 innings, Montagne surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. Cancun, at 13-2, is off to a blistering start.

Cancun took a 2-1 lead on Bob Katter's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Katter hit in the bottom of the seventh, left New Orleans pitcher Fenrir Lyken shaking his head.
