Brolina Homers Twice in 5-2 Vandals Win
Vancouver and Detroit duked it out and the Vandals came out victorious.

The Vancouver Vandals dealt the Detroit Demons a 5-2 loss at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. Mengie Brolina was the star on offense. He went 3-4 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Darren Clapp picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 8-7. Clay Homes recorded the save, making him 3 for 4.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Enrique von Caliente? The Vancouver second baseman had a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put the Vandals on top, 2-0. For the game, von Caliente had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
