Apex Suffer One-Run Loss at Death Valley
The Death Valley Scorpions picked up a win at Cari Price Memorial Stadium, knocking off the Indianapolis Apex, 5-4. On the mound for Death Valley was right-hander Guy Roussy. He played a key role in the triumph. Bandit Keith picked up his 13th save of the season. The Scorpions, at 59-42, have now won 4 straight.

Lawn Gnomes, who finished 4th in the Champions in OPS with .963 in 2070, chipped in a solo home run for Death Valley in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
