The Detroit Demons got a superb performance from pitcher Aria Bluesky, but the Lunar Base Space Rangers still won the game, 3-2. Bluesky threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball. Cornelius George-Braxton recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 10 for 18. The setback makes Detroit 68-35.
Had Firefly Boy not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Boy hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Space Rangers.
"We found a way to get it done," Boy said.
