The rain did not keep Outer Banks and Buffalo from finishing their game.

The performance of Bazooka Slow proved critical in helping Outer Banks beat Buffalo, 9-3. The Aviators center fielder went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Mickey Martino earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. His record is now 3-3.

Slow had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the seventh, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Aviators went on to win.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Slow.
