Lunar Base Beaten, 6-5, by Indianapolis

The Indianapolis Apex faced a tough opponent in Lunar Base pitcher Matt Hunter, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Brickyard by a final score of 6-5. Hunter went 6.1 innings and allowed 4 runs. Indianapolis reliever Stu Macher picked up the win, upping his record to 3-6. Ian Rubbish absorbed the loss. Lunar Base has now lost 4 in a row.
Dave Babipperson was the walk-off hero for Indianapolis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Apex shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Nice to tuck this win away," said Babipperson.
