Seattle Edges Death Valley, 1-0, McQueen Ks 10
|
Mejiro McQueen was superb against Death Valley. The left-hander, who led the Champions in wins with 17 in 2073, had a circle change that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Sea Serpents victory. The score was 1-0. Kip Treadwell notched his 19th save in 28 chances. The second-place Scorpions have lost 4 consecutive games.
McQueen, the Seattle left-hander, went 7 innings, allowing no runs on 2 hits. He collected 10 strikeouts.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said McQueen.
