Buffalo Defeated by New York, 4-2
|
New York beat Buffalo on the strength of starting pitcher Taylor Adkins's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-2. The victory gives the Voyagers a record of 59-46.
New York took a 4-2 lead on Devante Moore's 12th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Moore hit in the top of the ninth, left Buffalo pitcher Paj Bobba visibly frustrated.
"I like our moxie," said Voyagers manager .
