Getting a good performance from second baseman Tyler Detherage, the Cancun Toros defeated the New Orleans Rougarous, 7-5. Detherage was 3 for 7 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Toros. Cancun reliever Guess Who picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Reed Rothchild was saddled with the loss. With the win, Cancun upped its record to 66-39.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the 14th, with Cancun trailing 5-4, Detherage hit a fastball from Reed Rothchild for a 3-run home run, giving the Toros the walk-off win.

"This place sure got loud," said , the Cancun manager.
