Seattle starter Chris Cash pitched well against the Death Valley Scorpions at The Aquadome. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Seattle has an impressive 70-35 record.

The Sea Serpents got a big at-bat from left fielder Jim Hawkins. For the game, Hawkins was 1-3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 25th double of the season gave Seattle a 4-2 lead.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Hawkins told the Seattle Times.
