Raptors Suffer 3-1 Home Defeat
|
The Boise Raptors went down to defeat to Chad Innings-Eater and his San Antonio teammates. The final score was 3-1, in favor of the Sloths. Innings-Eater yielded no runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 5, and struck out 5. His record improves to 9-11. Carlos Krash finished the game for San Antonio and earned his 19th save.
San Antonio used a timely hit from Les Skoden to get the win. The left fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sloths on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said San Antonio skipper .
The Sloths now have a record of 62-44 with the win over Boise.
