Wombat Jones, who finished 5th in the Legends in saves with 10 in 2066, was locked in. The left-hander led the Outer Banks Aviators to a 5-3 win against the Buffalo Surge at The Island. Outer Banks reliever Joseph Mathys Hendry was the winner. His record is now 5-3. The losing pitcher was Max Lovehammer. The Aviators improved their record to 56-50 with the win over Buffalo.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Outer Banks. That's when Satchel O'Richards, who is tied for 2nd in the Legends in hits with 145, hit a 2-run home run off Max Lovehammer to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"Nice to tuck this win away," said O'Richards.
