Martini Silences New Orleans Bats
The Cancun Toros received a sterling performance from starting pitcher Pedro Martini, allowing them to shoot down the New Orleans Rougarous, 3-1. The Toros improved their record to 66-40 by beating New Orleans.

New Orleans had little success against Martini and his changeup. Martini tossed 110 pitches over 8.2 innings for the Toros.
