Scorpions Get One-Run Win at Cancun
Death Valley got a strong outing from Billy TheKid as the Scorpions defeated the Cancun Toros, 3-2, at El Coliseo de los Toros. In 5.2 innings, TheKid surrendered 7 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs. Xavier Pruitt got the save, the 3rd for him this season.

The Scorpions got a big hit from catcher Chazz Lamborghini. In the top of the fifth, Lamborghini pounded a solo home run to left. His 15th home run of the season put the Scorpions ahead, 3-2.

"We did enough to win," said Lamborghini.
