The Boise Raptors beat the Providence Crabs by a score of 12-8. Boise left fielder Udo Bonga deserved the lion's share of the credit. Bonga was 3-6 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for the Raptors. Boise reliever Katsuki Bakugo picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Ryan Negs took the loss. Providence, now 3-13, continues its tough start.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Bonga hit a changeup from Ryan Negs for a grand slam home run. The Raptors, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Bonga said afterward that he hoped the win would galvanize the team.
