The Cancun Toros picked up a win at El Coliseo de los Toros, knocking off the Death Valley Scorpions, 5-4. Starting pitcher Center Fielder played a key role in the triumph. With the win, the Toros have a record of 56-37.

Had Bob Katter not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Katter hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Toros.

"It was a good effort all around," said Fielder.
