The San Antonio Sloths topped the Toronto Pathfinders by a score of 7-4. Leading the way was left fielder Luigi Lanikai. Lanikai went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Sloths. Chicharon de Pollo was the winning pitcher. Over 5.1 innings, he allowed 1 run on 3 hits, with 6 walks and 6 strikeouts. The 'W' lifts San Antonio's record to 40-53.
The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Lanikai, who led the Legends in home runs with 28 last year, hit a run-scoring double. It propelled the Sloths into the lead, 2-1.
