Toros Rally For Late Win Over Sea Serpents
The Cancun Toros grabbed a win, 6-4, over the Seattle Sea Serpents at The Aquadome. Cancun third baseman Tiernan O'Malrain went 3 for 4 with 3 singles. Cancun reliever Kelly Brandt picked up the win. Archie Richards, who is tied for 7th in the Champions in holds with 3, took the loss for Seattle. Samuel Smoltz earned the save for Cancun, his 13th of the year.

Carlton Beaty drove in one run for Cancun. With one out and the game tied in the top of the ninth inning, Beaty, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2075, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Seattle hurler Archie Richards, he grounded out, driving in 1 run to give the Toros a 5-4 lead.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said O'Malrain.

Cancun has now won 3 straight, while the Sea Serpents have lost 3 in a row.
