Crabs Lose to Demons in Walk Off
The Detroit Demons knocked off the Providence Crabs, 6-3, at Demon's Lair at Laser Park. Biff Slamous was a big reason Detroit won. The first baseman was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The third-place Demons now have a win-loss record of 46-48.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Slamous hit a fastball from Ryan Negs for a 3-run home run. The Demons, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"It was terrific getting this win," Slamous said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
