The Florida Flamingos locked up a win at Florida Man Park, knocking off the Brew City Bears, 4-3. On the mound for Florida was right-hander Doc Rock. He played a major role in the triumph. Reid Johnson notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 3 innings. His record now sits at 5-1. Florida is now 52-31, Brew City 54-29.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 12th, an error by the Bears allowed the Flamingos to score the winning run.
