Amarillo Gets Another L
|
The Brew City Bears defeated the Amarillo Armadillos, 5-2, in Minor League PBE action at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Brew City pitcher Sloane Sinclair had a standout performance. Winnie the Pabst [BOT] earned the save, his 2nd in 2 tries. The win puts Brew City at 48-35 this season.
The Bears got a big at-bat from shortstop Agnes Digital. For the game, Digital went 1 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Brew City a 2-1 lead.
"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Amarillo manager .
