6-3 Loss Extends Seattle Skid
The Seattle Sea Serpents extended their losing streak with a loss to the Boise Raptors.

Boise Raptors starter The Phantom pitched a strong game against the Seattle Sea Serpents at The Aquadome, leading the Raptors to victory, 6-3. Phantom, now 7-9, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. Katsuki Bakugo recorded his 15th save for Boise.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Jeff Hopkins? The Boise catcher had a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put the Raptors on top, 3-1. For the game, Hopkins had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Phantom.

The losses continue to mount for Seattle, which has now dropped 10 in a row.
