Vancouver Tacks 9-3 Loss on Outer Banks

Getting a good performance from first baseman McLovin Jr., the Vancouver Vandals defeated the Outer Banks Aviators, 9-3. McLovin Jr. slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Vandals. The winning pitcher was Andy Beans. His record now stands at 2-1. The right-hander went 6.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 3 hits for the Vandals. Outer Banks is 7-9 after the defeat.
Vancouver used the hitting of Ashton Lansdell to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Vandals on top, 3-1. For the game, Lansdell had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
