Sea Serpents Handle Indianapolis, Snag 3-1 Win
The Seattle Sea Serpents picked up a win at The Brickyard, courtesy of Hercules Mulligan. The left-hander helped his team stop the Indianapolis Apex, 3-1. Mulligan picked up the win for Seattle, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 3-0. Kip Treadwell recorded the save for Seattle, his 2nd of the season.

Seattle used a clutch at-bat from Zak Johnson III to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Sea Serpents ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Johnson III.

The loss makes Indianapolis 10-6.
