Firehawks Collect 4-3 Win Over Ranas
|
Massive Unit had a strong outing for the California Firehawks against the Puerto Rico Ranas at Kay Faraday Memorial Stadium. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. The win lifted the California record to 45-39.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Ashton Fox? The 21-year old center fielder Fox stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put California up, 4-3. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 1 double and 2 singles.
