Aviators Lose Again, 5-4, to Apex
Indianapolis first baseman Leon Rosenthal helped his team beat the Outer Banks Aviators, 5-4. Rosenthal went 3 for 4 for the Apex. Romeo McFlourish was credited with the save, his 9th in 11 tries. The losses continue to mount for Outer Banks, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

One of the clutch hits for Indianapolis came from one of their biggest talents. In the top of the seventh with one out, Dee Fernandez, who is tied for 6th in the Champions in stolen bases with 53, hit a run-scoring single to put the Apex up, 5-4. For the game, the second baseman went 2 for 5 with 2 singles.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Fernandez said.
