Armadillos Lose to Bears in Walk-Off
|
Behind a fine performance from Agnes Digital, the Brew City Bears knocked off the Amarillo Armadillos in 12 innings, 5-2. Digital went 1-3 with a home run and 3 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Bears. The losing skid has reached 8 games for Amarillo.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With two out, Digital hit a circle change from Garlic Bread [BOT] for a 3-run home run. The Bears, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
Digital said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
