State College registered a win at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0 by beating the Amarillo Armadillos, 8-2. Pitcher Spencer Bearer was one reason why the Swift Steeds triumphed. Bearer, who is tied for 10th in the MiLPBE with a 3.33 ERA, went the distance for State College. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. State College has run its win streak to 5 straight.

In the bottom of the 6th, left fielder Griffin Stone gave State College the lead when he hit a 2-run single. The Swift Steeds had been trailing 2-1, but the two-out single off Amarillo pitcher Snack Reacher changed that -- and State College went on to win.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Bearer. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
