California Loss Tarnishes Fine Game by Seong
The California Firehawks got a superb performance from second baseman Eun Seong, but the State College Swift Steeds still won the game, 5-3. Seong belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. State College is now 38-47, while California is 50-35.

State College catcher Andrew Berry Jr contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a changeup to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 21st hit of the season and put the Swift Steeds ahead, 3-0.

State College manager called it "a pretty good win."
