Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Apex beat the Toros.

The Indianapolis Apex downed the Cancun Toros, 8-5. The hitting star was catcher Leon Rosenthal. Rosenthal was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Apex. Flop Quads notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. His record now sits at 1-2.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the sixth when Rosenthal, who is tied for 5th in the Champions in home runs with 5, hit a 2-run single. It propelled the Apex into the lead, 6-4.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Indianapolis manager .
