At The Burrow Presented By Frankie's Fun Bites, the Amarillo Armadillos and Chicago Kingpins were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Boots Poffenberger the Chicago Kingpins defeated the Amarillo Armadillos, 5-1. Chicago is now 45-41. Amarillo is 41-45.

With Chicago trailing 1-0 in the top of the second, Poffenberger hit a changeup from Marsh Mellow Jr. for a 2-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Kingpins ahead, 2-1.

"Nice win for us," said Poffenberger. "Now we'll go after the next one."
