Hepcats Victorious at California, 6-3

The Kansas City Hepcats downed the California Firehawks, 6-3, at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. Niklavs Stavinskis led the way, going 1-for-2 for Kansas City. Matthew Murdock, credited with the save, is now 4 for 7 in save opportunities. The win hiked the Kansas City record to 46-40.
With one out in the top of the eighth, Gandalf the Grey had a game-changing hit. The Hepcats right fielder slammed a 2-run single off Ima DudeMan, making the score 6-3, Kansas City.
Kansas City manager was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
