Kingpins Pick Up 3-0 Win Against Amarillo
In a low-scoring contest between the Chicago Kingpins and the Amarillo Armadillos, Avery Time was the X factor. The Chicago right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. The winning pitcher was Time, now 7-5. He tossed 6.1 innings of 1-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 2. The victory gives Chicago a record of 43-43.

Taiga Saejima had a big 2-run double for the Kingpins in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Chicago leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a cutter from Kaitlyn Montreal, who is tied for 4th in the MiLPBE in complete games with 1, and swatted a double to center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Kingpins ahead, 3-0.
