The first-place Brew City Bears picked up another win.

The Brew City Bears topped the Puerto Rico Ranas, 12-5, with catcher Tater MacCheesy playing a big role. MacCheesy went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Bears in the win. Brew City reliever Masahiro Sato picked up the win, upping his record to 7-3. Punish Vandals [BOT] absorbed the loss.

Had Videl Valor III not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Valor III hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Bears.

"It's nice to see a lot of guys make contributions," said Bears manager .

With the win, Brew City upped its record to 55-31.
