Getting a good performance from second baseman Ulysses Ballion, the State College Swift Steeds defeated the Puerto Rico Ranas, 4-2. Ballion was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs for the Swift Steeds . Nero Mantics closed it out for his 7th save. With the win, the Swift Steeds have a record of 36-48.

State College used the bat of Kota Mizushima to get the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Swift Steeds ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said State College manager . "It's usually not just one thing."
