The Florida Flamingos got a sterling performance from pitcher George Georgeas, but the Brew City Bears still prevailed, 5-3. Georgeas threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs. The winner was Brew City reliever Paj Bobba, now 11-4. The loser was Cody Ogg. The West Division-leading Bears have a record of 56-28.
Brew City won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Shaningo Flaps on the mound for Florida, designated hitter Lara Croft hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Bears fans to their feet.
"Every win gets us closer to our ultimate goal," said Croft.
