The Amarillo Armadillos overcame a pretty good performance by Kansas City third baseman Nathan Abel, beating the Hepcats, 7-6, at Center for Kansas City Kids That Can't Read Good. Abel was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winning pitcher was Brett Dusinberre. His record now stands at 1-1. The right-hander went 6.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits for the Armadillos. Nick Flack finished to wrap up his 1st save.
