Sea Serpents Take Down Toros, 2-1
The Seattle Sea Serpents picked up a win at The Aquadome, dropping the Cancun Toros, 2-1, in 10 innings. Mejiro McQueen, who finished 2nd in the Champions in ERA with 2.97 in 2073, was the difference-maker. Seattle pitcher Kip Treadwell earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Roquefort Cotswald suffered the loss. Seattle goes to 2-0 with the win.

The decisive blow was delivered by Lew Williams in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off three-time All-Star Roquefort Cotswald to win the game for Seattle. The home crowd went nuts.

"Enjoyed this one," McQueen told the Seattle Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
