Brolina Pops Two Homers in 10-6 Win for Cancun
Spirited fans greeted the Lunar Base Space Rangers for their clash with the Cancun Toros.

The Cancun Toros grabbed a win, 10-6, over the Lunar Base Space Rangers at Lunar Base SkyDome. Cancun designated hitter Mengie Brolina hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. John Cowgill got the win, improving to 3-2. He worked 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2.

With Cancun leading 4-2 in the top of the fifth, Brolina hit a cutter from Fridtjof Nansen for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Toros ahead, 7-2.

"We got the victory," said Brolina. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."

To call the performance of the 2076 Space Rangers disappointing is an understatement.
