Kansas City Offense Jammed Up by Flamingos
|
Daithi Kennedy-Senan never let Kansas City get something going. The Florida right-hander commanded his circle change in pitching the Flamingos to a 5-1 win. The losing streak for Kansas City has now reached 4 games.
Florida used a well-timed hit by McScootie Fortune to capture the win. The left fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Flamingos ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"I was able to fill up the zone," said Kennedy-Senan.
