Riding the 2-hit performance of the 24-year old first baseman Ulysses Ballion, the State College Swift Steeds stopped the Puerto Rico Ranas, 7-1. The third-place Swift Steeds have a record of 38-47.

Manny Alou, the 21-year old left fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Alou contributed a 2-run single in the top of the second inning to put State College up, 3-0.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Ballion.
