Firehawks Get Dramatic 3-2 Win
California Firehawks starter Chuck Nasty turned in a sterling performance against the Brew City Bears, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Reliever Girk Bigglet picked up the win. His record improves to 3-4. Paj Bobba took the loss. The victory gives the Firehawks a record of 48-37.

Kanutake MeHire was the walk-off hero for California. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Firehawks second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Nasty told the California Bulletin.
