The Brew City Bears knocked off the Puerto Rico Ranas, 9-1, in Minor League PBE action at Walter Partlo Memorial Stadium at The Tap House. Brew City pitcher and The United States, native Shota Takahashi had an outstanding performance. The win puts Brew City at 49-40 this season.

Durian Crag, who is tied for 2nd in the MiLPBE in hits with 123, took Puerto Rico hurler Jean Girard [BOT] deep in the bottom of the third. His 2-run home run put the Bears on top, 2-1. In all, Crag had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.

"I still think this team can play even better," Takahashi told the Brew City Chronicle.
