The Amarillo Armadillos racked up a win at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod, bumping off the Puerto Rico Ranas, 7-3. Flop Quads, who started for Amarillo, pitched effectively for his team. Quads went 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 3. His record improves to 13-6. The losses continue to mount for Puerto Rico, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

The Armadillos got an important contribution from third baseman Walter Walterson, who in the bottom of the first knocked a 2-1 changeup into left for a 3-run home run. It was his 21st home run of the season and put the Armadillos ahead, 4-0.

In postgame comments to the Amarillo Daily, Walterson said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
