Flamingos Sneak Past Swift Steeds , 5-4

Avery Acres had a good game, but he could not keep the State College Swift Steeds from falling, 5-4, to the Florida Flamingos at Florida Man Park. The State College right fielder went 2 for 4 with a triple and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the loss. Pord Larquad earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 5-3. At 52-37, the Flamingos are currently first in the East Division.
The Flamingos procured the win, in large part because of right fielder Boyz II Chess, Back Again. In the bottom of the 11th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"Exciting game to play in," said Back Again. "Getting the win makes it even better."
