Smoki Zazaki, who is tied for 4th in the MiLPBE in strikeouts with 100, propelled his team to victory over the California Firehawks. The final score was 4-1, Anchorage. George Fantobens earned his 8th save, after closing out the game. With the win over California, the Wheelers improved to 43-46.
Brayden Verity had a direct impact on the outcome. Verity contributed a 2-run single in the top of the fourth inning to put Anchorage up, 3-1.
