Alou Jacks Two Home Runs in 11-7 State College Win
The State College Swift Steeds powered past the Amarillo Armadillos, 11-7, at The Burrow Presented by the PBE Bigger Strange Pod. Manny Alou belted 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 5, to lead the charge. The winner was State College reliever Tim Infinity, now 3-1. The loser was Harold Smith. The Swift Steeds lead the East Division by 5 games.

Alou contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for State College in the top of the third. With his team trailing 3-1, Alou took a knuckle curve from Harold Smith and stroked the home run to right. His 14th home run of the season allowed the Swift Steeds to leap in front, 4-3.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager said.
