The Florida Flamingos knocked off the State College Swift Steeds , 5-4, in Minor League PBE action at Taylor Swift is Hard Mid Eras Tour 2.0. Florida pitcher and Nome, Alaska, native Moe Mentum had an outstanding performance. Mentum, now 12-4, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 9, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Picking up the save was 28-year old left-handed pitcher Saint Pete [BOT].

Ozzy Batty had a big 3-run home run for the Flamingos in the top of the second inning. With Florida leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a fastball from Bibi Kimura, who is tied for 2nd in the MiLPBE in complete games with 1, and punished it. The result was his 5th home run of the season, which put the Flamingos on top, 5-0.
