The Raptors grabbed a win, 3-2, at Hammond Park, overcoming a fine effort from Buffalo pitcher J.C. Swishman. Swishman went 8 innings and allowed 1 run. The Surge, now 3-14, continue their sluggish start.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Boise catcher Walker Texas-Ranger, facing Paj Bobba, had a run-scoring ground out. It gave the Raptors the 3-2 win.
