The Louisville Lemurs rode a solid performance from 22-year-old starting pitcher Shohei Onetani to a win, beating the Chicago Kingpins, 4-0, at The Jose Forty-Three Stadium. The victory gives Louisville a record of 47-43.
Onetani, who was born in Los Angeles, California, threw 104 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no runs.
In postgame comments to the Louisville Times, Onetani said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
