Firehawks Get Past Amarillo for 6-5 Win
Amarillo designated hitter Jordan Love had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-5, to California at PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons. Love belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. With the victory, the Firehawks upped their record to 48-42.

The Firehawks were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when first baseman Devin Harris turned a 1-2 sinker from Gritty into a 2-run double. The walk-off double electrified the PBE Bigger Strange Podcast Stadium: Home of the Waterpigeons denizens and sent the Firehawks home with a thrilling 6-5 win.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Harris told the California News.
