The 6-5 Anchorage win over Kansas City was due in large part to Slime Sluggerton. The Wheelers shortstop was 2-5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. After today's action, Anchorage sits at 39-52; Kansas City slips to 48-43.

Enrique Checo was the walk-off hero for Anchorage. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Wheelers left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
